Six Meshes
One hardware family, six topologies, and a naming convention strict enough to survive three agencies.

Kelvin make hinges, handles and catches — objects nobody photographs well and everybody needs pictures of. The brief was not a render. It was a set of files that three different agencies could use for the next four years without calling us.
Built to be handed over
Six base meshes, each one quad-dominant, each one named the same way down to the bolt:
catch_02_plate_L. UDIMs laid out identically across the family so a material moves from
one product to another without a repack.
The argument we lost, correctly
We wanted to ship subdivision surfaces. The agencies wanted triangulated FBX. The agencies were right — the files had to open in whatever the client’s junior designer had installed, and that turned out to include a copy of SketchUp from 2019.
Outcome
Four years of renders we did not make, which is the point. The kit is still in use.
